Why you should always trust your gut
HAve you ever met someone, unexpectedly, with whom you had a real connection with,who you felt totally comfortable chatting to,someone on the same wavelenght as you …and all those cliches.
This person is straight to the point. ” I really like you ” he says and you somehow know he means it. You happen to be seeing someone for the last few months and stupidly feel guilty even though straight off you know you have never ever had a conversation on this level with your so called boyfriend..who you were trying to make a go of things with after he unceremoniously dumped you via facebook for not responding to a text while you were in s.america.
The guy gives you his number and asks you out but you say you cant accept it and secretly i think you want him to try harder..which he does ..but then you stubbornly wont be pressed into anything and jump in a taxi 3 hours later and leave….??? Better the devil you know you say convincingly….to no one but yourself!!
You never meet this boy again even though his brother lives just 5 min drive from your house. Your so called boyfriend goes hot and cold and then vapourises after a couple of weeks!
