How to exist on sunless January days...
1.Hmmmm...to follow.
Tue Dec 9
In supermarket aisles found myself being transported to Miss D’s class of ‘79… at the time seemeD a strange Xmas song for a 6yr old to leaRN.I mean it was nothing like Rudolph or Little Donkey…but i loved the bit where all the kids joined in..so thats how she taught it on her old ‘45 player in the Big Hall of the Convent.I can still hear our voices echoing and feel the joy at this music we were making that i was part of…loved it!
Man was she a cool Teacher and the first to really get  me on track and help stop my anxiety..for a couple of golden years in her classroom.
Anyhow, John you were a true human voice that still reaches out even now and I still get chills when I hear that amazing song and the voices on the track.
I watched the Long way down on Sunday and Ewan and Charlie made a trip to Gulu in Northern Uganda. They witnessed first hand the suffering of the children who were kidnappped and forced to commit terrible autrocities as chils soldiers. These ghost like children are trying to rebuild their lives with the help of community projects. Imagine every evening having to flee from your home to sleep on the streets of the nearest town 10 miles away! All to prevent being forced to become a soldier at the tender age of 7 or 8 !!?? To prevent being forced to kill, rape and mutilate!!! Imagine the daMAGE TO THESE LITTLE ONES ..i send out my hope to them.
These days i long for home..i know its not complete anymore but still I long to return and rebulid it to its former glory and happiness..am I up to the challenge..is it even possible…answer: Have courage Al
